Ethos and Values

At Altofts Junior, the staff and children have established a set of fundamental values and principles, which are at the heart of everything we strive for.

We will ensure that all children feel safe and happy in our inclusive school. They will learn about respect and be taught that they are all unique and equal using the principles of the Equality Act and the 9 protective characteristics.

We will support and encourage our children to be curious in their learning and to develop their independence so they are prepared for their next stages of their education. Their time at Altofts will be celebrated, and through bringing all these fundamental values together, we will support them to become thriving members of the developing world and society in which they live.
