Wrap Around After School Care (Delivered by Superstar Sport)

  1. When can I book?

To secure your child's place we are currently accepting bookings from September all the way up to Christmas.

  1. Can I hand in my notice to a local childcare provider?

Yes. Our Wrapround Provision will start from the 4th of September to support our families by providing the service every school day for the full 2024-2025 academic year.

 

  1. When do I pay the fees?

You can pay via the online booking system at the time of booking or no later than 2 weeks before the date of your booking.

 

  1. When do I pay with my tax-free childcare vouchers?

You will book your child/children in the usual way and then you will email info@superstarsportwakefield.co.uk advising us that you intend to use your tax-free childcare vouchers. The outstanding amount displayed on the booking system will remain to show the amount you will be invoiced. Your child/children will attend the Wraparound Provision. At the end of each month, we shall invoice you. Then you will be able to pay using your tax-free childcare account.

We are in the process of registering with OFSTED and this should be completed before schools starts. If it takes longer then temporarily your school will invoice you at the end of September and then you will pay your school. Your school will then pay us. 

 

  1. How can I use my Universal Credit Childcare?

Once we have obtained our OFSTED registration you will pay on the booking system, and we shall provide you with our OFSTED registration number and invoice for you to claim back any childcare.

 In the meantime, you will book your child/children in the usual way and then you will email info@superstarsportwakefield.co.uk advising us that you need an invoice from an OFSTED registered provider before you can pay. The outstanding amount displayed on the booking system will remain to show the amount you will be invoiced. Your child/children will attend the Wraparound Provision. At the end of each month until we have received our OFSTED registration number, your school will invoice you and then you will pay your school. Your school will then pay us. You will be able to use the school’s invoice.

 

  1. What is our OFSTED registration number?

We will obtain this once our registration with OFSTED is complete, in the meantime, you will use your schools, and they will send you invoices for tax-free childcare vouchers and Universal Credit childcare.

 

  1. Can SEN children attend the provision?

Please email ish@superstarsportwakefield.co.uk details of the child so that we can liaise with the school and respond.

 

  1. What times can I collect my children?

You need to select the booking link https://super-star-sport-wakefield.classforkids.io/camp/13 to collect children at 4pm or 6pm.

 

To collect children at 5pm you must us the booking link https://super-star-sport-wakefield.classforkids.io/camp/23

 

  1. What activities will the children have available?

Everyday there will be a variety of sports, super fun activities & games and lots of different arts & crafts available. 

 

  1. Is there any support for children with food allergies

The booking system requests this information when you are making your booking. We do have a no nut policy. Please email info@superstarsportwakefield.co.uk for further assistance.

 

  1. What are the coaches’ qualifications?

All of our coaches have passed an enhanced DBS check, have been Safeguard and First Aid trained, hold a variety of sports qualifications, and have a true passion to deliver super fun sports and activities to children in a safe environment.

 

  1. What is the procedure to collecting children at 4pm, 5pm and 6pm?

Our Provision Leader will bring the children that are booked until these times to the reception area for 4pm, 5pm or 6pm. The Provision Leader will then dismiss the children to their parent/guardian.

 

  1. What if I need to collect my children at a different time?

You will need to email info@superstarsportwakefield.co.uk in advance and inform us what time you plan to collect your children. Once you arrive you may need to ring our dedicated mobile phone number which will be posted at the front gate and reception for parents/guardians to ring.

 

  1. What if I need to send someone else to collect my children?

You will need to email info@superstarsportwakefield.co.uk in advance and inform us of the full details of who will be collecting the children.

 

  1. What do I do if I have problems accessing the school when collecting my children?

We will have a dedicated mobile phone number which will be posted at the front gate and reception for parents/guardians to ring if needed.
